The Masters and Queens events were held at Let It Roll Bowl on April 2-3.  Kyle King won his first Masters title defeating Brett Wolfe for the win.  In the double elimination format, a bowler had to lose twice to be eliminated.  Wolfe won the first match to send it to a second deciding set.  King won that set, 465-419 to claim the title.  He is the youngest bowler to in the Metro Phoenix Masters at 19 yrs of age.

Tina Stickney won her third Queens title in four years as she defeated Vicki Frizzell 401 -374.  Stickney was undefeated in matchplay so Frizzell needed to win twice against Stickney to get the title. Frizzell was also attempting to win her third Queens title having previously won in 1997 and 1999.
